All Morgan + Rose wedding packages include a one hour engagement shoot in the Edinburgh area.  If you are getting married elsewhere or are visiting Edinburgh and would love to have an Edinburgh engagement shoot, I would be delighted to help you plan it. I work with many couples traveling from all of the world such as the United States, Canada and Asia who want beautiful, authentic photos in Scotland. Whether it's a total surprise or you're already engaged, I'll help you put together the perfect shoot.


If I’m photographing your wedding, the engagement session is probably the first time we’re all going to work together and it’s a great opportunity for us all to get to know one another. You are with your photographer a lot on the wedding day and so the rapport you have with them is vital for beautiful, comfortable looking shots.

Whether it’s part of your wedding package or not, our time together can be whatever you’d like it to be. Some couples choose the place they got engaged or another place close to their hearts – or I can offer suggestions of places that are really going to make their photos special.


If you are a visitor to Edinburgh I would be delighted to put together a mini tour of the city and show you my favourite parts – you’ll get an insiders view of this spectacular city as well as gorgeous photos to remember it by.


Popular locations for your shoot include: Circus Lane and Stockbridge, The Water of Leith and Dean Village, Calton Hill, Holyrood Park, Princes Street Gardens, Cramond Beach and the Scottish Highlands. If you're looking for somewhere totally unique and off the beaten track, I can help with that too!
