Keith and Kelly are getting married in two weeks time and their wedding is going to be taking place at the breathtakingly beautiful Inchcolm Island. Guests will travel by boat to the island (with Kelly, our adventurous bride!) hidden away in the top wheel house just so her groom doesn’t catch a sneaky glimpse of her! I’m so looking forward to this wedding adventure – I think it’s going to be the perfect mix of historical backdrops, incredible scenery and romance.
This was less a traditional engagement shoot and more a chance for us to tour the island together, talking about potential portrait locations and planning things like group shots and seeing what the light is like inside the Abbey. Since I had never been before, this whole trip was really on my behalf so I could get a lay on the land!
The wildlife on the island is amazing. Gulls were nesting so they were less than impressed at our intrusion into their nursery. Still, worth it to climb to the top to get a “bird’s eye view” of the Abbey and the surrounding beaches. Lets just hope it warms up a bit, the day was the tiniest bit blustery and cold.
REALLY looking forward to their big day, 2 weeks to go!
