Linda and Gordon are a lovely and very special couple. I first met Linda a few years ago when she was bridesmaid at another gorgeous wedding I was photographing. I remember her even then as this calm and organised presence, keeping everyone together and making sure things went to plan – in the most unobtrusive way possible! So when she got in touch to ask me if I would photograph her own wedding, I jumped at the chance! I knew she would put together something very special.
Linda and Gordon said from the start they wanted it to be small, intimate and elegant. I now know what it’s like planning a wedding – the guest list can be the most daunting and stressful part. Who makes the list? Who doesn’t but really should?! It’s incredibly difficult. So my hat is off to this couple who perfected the most beautiful city centre small wedding but still managed to party long into the night with their closest family and best friends.
From Linda’s 50’s inspired cocktail length gown, chic headpiece and the men smartly decked out in tartan, this city wedding was dripping with style. One of my (many) favourite parts was the vintage Roller that carried us to the party – I could certainly get used to that. Enjoy this little sneak peek!
