It was such a lovely coincidence that I found myself at Errol Park Estate two weekends in a row! A good coincidence however, it’s quickly becoming one of my favourite venues. It has diverse backdrops, it’s very authentic and the views are incredible.
I first met Sigrid and Juraj last year and I was struck by the their closeness and extremely strong bond. They are clearly best friends and love to laugh with each other. It makes photographing them a dream as they love to joke and have fun in front of the camera. You might remember their lovely and playful engagement shoot which we also did at Errol Park Estate. It was lightly raining for their engagement shoot and everything took on a sort of muted ethereal look, however their wedding day was exploding with sunshine and colour. No one could have predicted how sunny it was going to be! Scotland really was at her best.
This lovely couple were quick to single out and thank their incredibly supportive friends and family, without whom the day wouldn’t have been possible. So many details for this wedding were lovingly handmade, from the bespoke signs on the tables to the incredible cake, all made by friends. Even the flower arrangements were a DIY affair, although you would never have known it. The whole day was polished and went absolutely perfectly.
The best weddings are about love, family, friends and having a good time and this gorgeous day accomplished all of those things. Sigrid’s beautiful dress was probably the highlight of the day for me – she looked absolutely stunning and Juraj’s face as she came down the aisle was classic!
Sigrid still had some surprises up her (lace) sleeves however and right as the dancing got properly started, she changed into a super cute, knee-length strapless ballerina type gown that was perfect for dancing the rest of the night away. A wonderful end to a perfect day.
Congrats! Please enjoy this sneak peak of Sigrid and Juraj’s perfect wedding day.
