There are few things that I like better than a wedding by the water and this beautiful picture postcard day of a wedding was no exception. Every bride wants sun on her wedding day and sun was what Claire and Craig received, it was glorious!
Claire and Craig chose the MacDonald Marine Hotel in North Berwick for many reasons, but a huge factor was the view. As Claire’s parents live up the coast in Dunbar, she wanted to have a similar feel to being at home and they couldn’t have chosen better. Family and friends came from far and wide to celebrate with the happy couple. Craig is originally from South Africa and so his family had come quite a long way, as well as guests all the way from America. Not to mention of course the guests from Scotland, happy to be by the water in the sun celebrating with C+C on such a gorgeous day!
This wedding was high on details, with a cute and quirky theme of safari animals (a playful nod to Craig’s heritage) with pops of soft pink and accents of gold. All together, it gave this wedding a bright, sophisticated look. Favourite parts of the wedding for me were probably the time I spent with the couple getting their couple shots down on the beach, the photos came out beautifully – and the seriously fantastic sunset that appeared at the end of the night. Just wait till you see the last few photos of this post and you’ll see what I mean!
These two will give you all serious #relationshipgoals, enjoy their gorgeous North Berwick wedding!
